Leukemia immunology and cellular metabolism define this 100% postdoctoral researcher position at the University of Basel in Basel. Investigate immune evasion and leukemia persistence.
Working in the Apostolova Lab, you will lead an interdisciplinary project within the ERC Starting Grant LIFE project. The research connects leukemia biology, tumor immunology, metabolism, and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. You will study how metabolic programs influence immune recognition and create targetable vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and interpret mechanistic leukemia experiments
- Perform in vivo animal studies
- Analyze and present scientific data
- Develop cooperative research projects
- Mentor PhD and MSc students
Requirements:
- PhD in cancer biology, immunology, or related discipline
- Strong tumor biology or immunology background
- Hands-on mouse tumor model experience
- Extensive spectral flow cytometry experience
- Independent mechanistic experimental skills
Apply your leukemia immunology, metabolism, flow cytometry, and experimental research expertise within Basel’s interdisciplinary biomedicine community.
