Deliver hands-on network security consulting for Malleum clients, applying infrastructure administration and incident response expertise remotely and on-site.

This senior-level, client-facing consultant designs, secures, and operates network and security infrastructure across regulated and cleared environments. You will administer routers, firewalls, VPNs, wireless systems, security tooling, cloud platforms, and hybrid environments. The role also supports active incident response with Malleum’s IR consultants, forensic analysts, and threat hunters.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer and monitor routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless systems
- Operate EDR, SIEM, email security, vulnerability, and identity platforms
- Deploy ZTNA solutions using Cloudflare edge, access, and tunnel services
- Apply hardening, patch management, vulnerability remediation,



and configuration standards
- Support containment, eradication, recovery, and evidence preservation during incidents

Requirements:

- Seven or more years designing enterprise network and security infrastructure
- Expertise with routing, switching, segmentation, and Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Cisco
- Robust client communication and technical stakeholder management abilities
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and ZTNA
- Government of Canada Secret clearance eligibility or higher
