Lead financial reporting and accounting operations as BluMetric’s full time Controller at its Ottawa headquarters. Oversee payroll, close, and internal reporting.

Reporting to the Vice President, Director – Finance, the Controller leads day-to-day accounting operations. Responsibilities include consolidated statements, external audits, sales tax remittances, and financial controls. The position also guides accounting team development and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close processes
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements
- Lead audits, tax remittances, and corporate tax documentation
- Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and reconciliations
- Improve reporting,



controls, systems, and accounting processes

Requirements:

- CPA designation in good standing
- At least six years of progressively responsible accounting experience
- Experience preparing statements, payroll, reporting, and financial analysis
- Leadership experience supervising, mentoring, and developing teams
- Advanced Microsoft Office and accounting software proficiency
