Reporting to the Supervisor, Production, the Pharmacist supports Central Pharmacy Services at 116-10725 25 Street NE. The full-time role includes communicating with client pharmacies, coordinating vendor and support teams, and maintaining dispensary standards. Professional licensing, customer service, and pharmacy systems knowledge support the position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescriptions accurately while meeting privacy requirements
- Communicate with client pharmacies and support teams
- Maintain records, workflow queues, inventory, and controlled substances documentation
- Prepare, package, distribute,
and store pharmacy inventory
- Escalate medication and privacy incidents appropriately
Requirements:
- Valid license to practise in Alberta
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Independent decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of pharmacy systems and personal computing
