Support members at Coast Capital’s Cambie Branch using retail banking, customer service, and needs-based sales skills in an office setting. This full time temporary position lasts approximately 18 months.

As a Member Advice Specialist, you will help members with everyday banking, personal credit, investments, and electronic services. You will build relationships, identify opportunities, and connect members with suitable teammates. The position requires three years of bank or credit union experience, preferably in lending and investments, plus the Investment Funds in Canada certificate.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver positive customer experiences through general retail banking
- Discuss saving, growing, protecting, and improving financial well-being
- Complete branch checks, policies, and regulatory requirements




- Offer helpful solutions to customer inquiries
- Achieve sales and referral targets through needs-based selling

Requirements:

- Three years of bank or credit union member experience
- Experience with lending and investments preferred
- Investment Funds in Canada certificate required at application
- Post-secondary education in finance, business administration, or related field
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and build member relationships
