JSG is hiring a Raw Materials Specialist for our client in Madawaska, ME

Job Duties:

- Actively supports and promotes safe work practices throughout the mill by being present at safety activities and personally encouraging safe behaviors.
- Keeps abreast of modern purchasing practices and techniques and directs staff in the development of modern purchasing and inventory management techniques.
- Assist with contracts and purchase agreements.
- Manages bulk raw material inventories and orders accordingly.
- Manages material flow to ensure inventory is maintained at the optimum level to support on time customer deliveries while keeping inventory holdings at the appropriate levels.
- Actively participate in month end closing as well as yearend.
- Coordinate with transportation department for pick-ups.
- Responsible for IQ Invoicing and verifying accurate billing.
- Communicate with operators in the prep and beater rooms.
- Helps with the development of the annual budget, tracks performance,



identify and implement opportunities to improve cost performance.
- Attends and supports the daily mill production meeting and participates in other meetings such as safety, contractor performance, business review, project scheduling, budget review and staff meetings as required.
- Shall have responsibility to report problems with the food safety management system to identified person(s).
