Occupational Therapist needed at Kamloops Seniors Health & Wellness Centre, delivering client-centered assessment and treatment planning. This is a full time clinic position with occasional home visits.

You will support seniors receiving specialized short-term care lasting four to eight weeks. Working within an interdisciplinary team, you will promote functional independence and optimal health outcomes. The position includes consultation, equipment prescription, education, and direction for Rehabilitation Assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess patients and develop treatment plans
- Implement treatment and plan occupational therapy programs
- Provide consultation, equipment prescription, and education
- Promote functional independence through client-centered care
- Direct Rehabilitation Assistants regarding transfer of function

Requirements:

- Valid driver's license and vehicle required
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team
- Experience supporting older adults in short-term care
- Ability to provide occasional home visits
- Commitment to client-centered practice
