This Interim Engineering Intern role supports Qualcomm’s High-Speed Interfaces Silicon Validation team. You will help test ultra-high-speed network communication devices exceeding 100Gbps for AI and data center applications. The work develops hardware and software skills through electrical and optical characterization, instrumentation, and scripts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support laboratory testing for ultra-high-speed network communication devices
- Perform electrical and optical characterization activities
- Build complex test fixtures using laboratory instrumentation
- Develop scripts for configuration, testing,
and data collection
- Control instrumentation and create robust test solutions
Requirements:
- Study toward a related bachelor’s degree
- One-plus years’ academic programming experience
- Familiarity with Python and object-oriented programming
- Interest in high-speed interfaces and laboratory equipment
- Availability January 2027 through April or May 2027
