As a Mechanical Prototyping Specialist, you will support cross-functional projects evaluating UVC LEDs and related technologies. Translate requirements into concepts, detailed designs, test fixtures, and working experimental hardware. Build practical engineering expertise through hands-on design, testing, analysis, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Translate technical requirements into mechanical concepts and detailed designs
- Create CAD models, engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures
- Build, assemble, test, troubleshoot, and refine prototypes
- Analyze test results and make evidence-based recommendations




- Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and multidisciplinary technical teams

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or relevant discipline
- At least three years of relevant experience
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and three-dimensional CAD modeling
- Experience designing, building, testing, and refining prototypes
- Knowledge of additive manufacturing, machining, fabrication, and mechanical assembly
