Lead daily landscape production with crew leadership and quality oversight as Atkinson Landscaping’s Field Manager, spending approximately 75% of your time in the field.
This hands-on Field Manager role supports three to five crews across year-round landscape installation and winter snow removal. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will coordinate closely with the Schedule Coordinator and Estimator. The work combines field leadership, administrative tasks, training, budget control, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check in daily with crews and reinforce production goals
- Review and approve draft daily schedules
- Hold crews accountable for trucks and equipment standards
- Coach and develop crew members
- Minimize rework and callbacks on completed projects
Requirements:
- Experience in landscaping and hardscaping
- Solid leadership and people-management skills
- Comfort balancing field work with administrative tasks
- Self-management when prioritizing time in the field
- Relevant pesticide or equipment experience is an asset
