AtkinsRéalis seeks a Computer Control Specialist Engineer supporting digital instrumentation and control systems. You will address DCC, DCS, plant computer, safety-critical, and communication network requirements. The work spans design, analysis, specification, integration, verification, and lifecycle support for reactor control, process control, monitoring, and nuclear safety functions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop computer control architectures for CANDU nuclear plants
- Specify DCC, DCS, PPC, HMI, and monitoring systems
- Define system, functional, and interface requirements
- Evaluate safety-related computer systems and cybersecurity boundaries




- Support integration, FAT, SAT, validation, and corrective actions

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, computer, or software engineering
- Qualified Engineer license or eligibility for registration
- Experience with nuclear safety, reliability, hazard, and cybersecurity assessments
- Experience with DCC, DCS, PLC, SCADA, and real-time systems
- Knowledge of CANDU systems, nuclear standards, and CNSC REGDOCs
