Lead IFRS financial reporting in the Greater Toronto Area as a Manager, External Reporting, using technical accounting expertise and public-company experience.
This Manager role oversees quarterly and annual reporting requirements for Vaco/Highspring’s client. You will prepare financial statements, MD&A;, notes, and public-company disclosures while partnering with finance leadership, business units, and auditors. The position requires CPA credentials, solid IFRS knowledge, and direct external reporting experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead quarterly and annual consolidated financial statement preparation
- Prepare MD&A;, notes, and external reporting disclosures
- Research complex accounting matters and changing IFRS standards
- Coordinate reporting deadlines across finance and stakeholders
- Maintain controls over external financial reporting processes
Requirements:
- CPA designation and bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
- Approximately seven or more years’ progressive reporting experience
- Direct public-company external reporting experience
- Hands-on IFRS financial statement and disclosure experience
- Advanced Excel and financial reporting systems experience
