We are seeking an experienced, organized, and detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee our daily business operations, supervise employees, manage financial transaction workflows, and ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily business operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
- Manage and supervise operational staff, including tellers and transaction processing personnel.
- Coordinate domestic and international money transfers, currency exchange transactions, banking activities, and customer settlements.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing payments, including EFTs, wire transfers, cheques, bank drafts, and cash transactions.
- Review transaction records, payment instructions, exchange rates, and financial documentation for accuracy.
- Coordinate with accounting and reconciliation departments to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records.
- Monitor outstanding transactions, payment delays, customer balances, and settlement obligations.
- Ensure employees follow internal policies, financial controls, and customer identification procedures.
- Work closely with the Compliance Officer to support FINTRAC compliance requirements, KYC procedures, and anti-money laundering controls.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries, resolve operational issues, and maintain professional relationships with clients and financial institutions.
- Identify operational risks, prevent unauthorized transactions, and implement improvements to internal procedures.
- Prepare operational reports for senior management, including transaction volumes,



outstanding payments, staff performance, and operational challenges.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in operations management, banking, financial services, currency exchange, or money remittance.
- Previous experience supervising employees and coordinating financial operations.
- Strong understanding of financial transactions, banking procedures, reconciliation, and internal controls.
- Familiarity with FINTRAC regulations and Canadian financial compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced financial environment.
- Strong attention to detail, professionalism, confidentiality, and financial accuracy.

Language Requirements

Proficiency in both English and Farsi (Persian) is required.

English is necessary for communicating with Canadian financial institutions, regulatory authorities, and preparing operational documentation.

Farsi is necessary for communicating with the company's Farsi-speaking clients, coordinating Iran-related remittance transactions, verifying payment instructions, resolving transaction discrepancies, and supervising relevant operational communications.
