Job description:

Team Associates Ltd. is an engineering firm has been established since 1989 that focuses on structural engineering solutions for manufacturing and industrial clients.

We are seeking one Full-Time Engineer with a Structural Engineering background.

Job requirements include but are not limited to:

- Travel to site to meet with clients

- Take measurements and make sketches

- Prepare/review stamped engineering drawings to be provided to clients

- Calculate load bearing values with relevant safety factors

- Provide structural analysis

- Use software for load calculations

Skill Requirements / Qualifications

- Minimum 7 years experience with structural engineering design. 5 years in Canada preferred

- A Degree in Structural Engineering

- Licensed Professional Engineer of Ontario (min. 5 years)

- Knowledge in civil and mechanical engineering is beneficial

- Working knowledge of OBC, Fire code of Ontario, Ministry of Labour guidelines, etc.





- Extensive software skills regarding AutoCAD

- Self-motivated and the ability to work under tight deadlines

- Excellent organizational skills

- The ability to measure and sketch out As-Built conditions

- A strict attention to detail

- General proficiency with Microsoft Office

- Excellent communication skills in both speaking and writing in English

- Ability to compose reports, findings letters, letters of conformance, etc.

- A G class Ontario driver’s license and a vehicle
