Worklynx Recruitment Inc. is seeking an Electrician for one of our clients in the Elora, ON area. The ideal candidate must have a valid 442A Electrician license and strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills along with PLC programming experience.
Shift:
Coverage is required during the core hours of 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., Monday to Thursday. Flexible start and end times are available, such as 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. four days per week or 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. five days per week. Overtime is also available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to machine breakdowns to maximize equipment uptime
- Support emergency call-ins for facility and equipment repairs when required
- Maintain plant electrical cabinets, motors, brushes, disconnects and lighting
- Complete corrective and preventive maintenance work as assigned
- Monitor and maintain electrical supplies
- Support engineering and continuous improvement initiatives related to electrical standards
- Manage and estimate project work and scope requirements
- Communicate professionally with team members, contractors and stakeholders
- Prioritize multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced workplace
- All other duties as required
Qualifications
- Valid 442A Industrial Electrician licence
- 3–5 years of electrician experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- PLC programming experience
