Cosmetic Nurse Injector (RN / RPN)

Canada MedLaser Clinics – Whitby, Ontario

Location: Whitby, ON (In Person)

Position Type: Part-Time / Freelance.

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

About Canada MedLaser

Canada MedLaser Clinics is a recognized name in medical aesthetics, dedicated to delivering advanced treatments, exceptional client experiences, and outstanding results.

At our Whitby location, we are committed to combining clinical expertise, innovative aesthetic treatments, and personalized care to help our clients look and feel their best.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cosmetic Nurse Injector (RN or RPN) to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for an established aesthetic nursing professional who demonstrates exceptional technical proficiency, strong clinical judgment, and a passion for delivering safe, natural-looking results.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently perform aesthetic consultations, develop personalized treatment plans, and administer approved treatments within applicable nursing scope, authorizations, and clinical protocols.
- Perform cosmetic injectable procedures, including:
- Neuromodulators: Botox, Dysport, Nuceiva, and equivalent products.
- Dermal Fillers: Lip augmentation, cheeks, chin, jawline, nasolabial folds, and facial contouring.
- Skin Boosters: Injectable skin hydration, rejuvenation, and skin-quality improvement treatments.
- IV Therapy: IV insertion, infusion administration, and monitoring in accordance with applicable clinical requirements.
- Assess facial anatomy, skin conditions, treatment suitability, and contraindications.
- Apply appropriate injection techniques while prioritizing patient safety and complication prevention.
- Educate clients on treatment expectations, aftercare, and maintenance recommendations.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and compliant patient records, treatment documentation, and informed consent.

- Follow infection prevention, medication handling, and clinical safety protocols.
- Build long-term client relationships through exceptional service, follow-up care, and consistent treatment results.
- Recommend appropriate complementary treatments and contribute to clinic growth through ethical, consultative sales practices.
- Collaborate effectively with the Clinic Director, medical oversight providers, and aesthetic team.

Required Qualifications

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Minimum three (3) years of verifiable, hands-on clinical experience performing cosmetic injections, including Botox, dermal fillers, and skin boosters.
- Demonstrated hands-on competence in IV insertion and IV therapy.
- Formal practical training and certification in neuromodulators and dermal fillers.
- Advanced understanding of facial anatomy, vascular structures, injection techniques, and the recognition and management of complications.
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, infection prevention, informed consent, and patient safety.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent communication, consultation, interpersonal, and client relationship management skills.
- Ability to work confidently and independently within applicable qualified standards, clinical authorizations, and medical oversight arrangements.

Please note: This is an experienced injector position.

Candidates must have demonstrated practical experience administering injectable treatments. Cosmetic injection certification alone, without the required hands-on experience, will not meet the position requirements.

Preferred Additional Experience

- Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) and Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) treatments for skin rejuvenation and hair restoration.
- Biostimulators and advanced facial rejuvenation techniques.
- Advanced skin rejuvenation and regenerative aesthetic procedures.
- Experience in a high-volume medical aesthetics clinic.
- Established client relationships and a demonstrated ability to support client retention and treatment-plan conversion.

What We Offer

- Competitive compensation aligned with demonstrated experience and clinical proficiency.
- Flexible scheduling based on operational needs and appointment demand.
- Opportunity to work with an established medical aesthetics brand.
- Supportive and collaborative clinical environment.
- Opportunities for professional growth and expanding treatment expertise.
- Potential for a long-term professional relationship as the clinic continues to grow.

Qualified candidates are invited to submit:

- An updated resume detailing their cosmetic injection experience.
