Wage: $46.00 per hour

Job Duties
The Registered Physiotherapist will:
- Assess patients' physical abilities through evaluative procedures, including functional ability testing.
- Establish treatment goals with patients based on physical assessment and diagnosis.
- Plan and implement physiotherapy treatment programs, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, patient education, and the appropriate use of electrotherapeutic and other therapeutic equipment.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and modify treatment as clinically appropriate.
- Provide patients with advice regarding exercises and strategies to implement at home to enhance or maintain treatment outcomes.
- Communicate with referring physicians and other health care professionals regarding patients' conditions,
needs and progress, as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate clinical and statistical records.
- Confer with other health care professionals regarding patient care when required.
- Develop and participate in health promotion and patient education programs.
Education and Professional Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Physiotherapy, or an equivalent internationally educated entry-to-practice physiotherapy qualification.
- Must be registered and licensed with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta, or be eligible to obtain the registration/licence required to practise physiotherapy in Alberta.
Experience: Experience is an asset; however, qualified new graduates who meet the applicable Alberta registration/licensing requirements are encouraged to apply.
