Warehouse Associate Job Description:

Purpose of this Position:

Responsible for performing inventory management, ordering and receiving of shipments, making deliveries to various departments, and supporting warehouse staff.

Job Summary:

· Part-time, permanent position

· Wage: $20.60 per hour

· Paid bi-weekly

Responsibilities:

· Store and organize stock within the warehouse, ensuring space is available for incoming shipments.

· Receive orders, ensuring they are correct, and either deliver to appropriate department or place into stock and update inventory counts.





· Assess and maintain minimum counts of item that are critical for repair purposes, e.g. electrical, plumbing and pool supplies.

· Ensure ongoing stock of products critical for operations using systems such as min/max or First-In/First-Out as needed, e.g. Chlorine, laundry soap, hospitality robes, and more.

· Complete any incoming or outgoing correspondences on a daily basis.

· Pick up orders from various locations, e.g. Home Hardware, CCS, Guillevin, etc.

· Pick up processed beef order approximately every three weeks, receive and ensure accuracy.

· Create, enter and receive Purchase Orders (PO) in Global Dynamics.

· Perform cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory and that data is entered into the Warehouse Master Inventory records.

· Receive and process department order forms and that appropriate procedure is followed, e.g. Kitchen beef order form.

Job Requirements:

- Capable of lifting 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, load and unload heavy objects
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Able to squat, kneel, bend, twist and reach overhead

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid G Driver’s License
- Forklift certification is preferred, but training can be provided
- Knowledge of building maintenance is an asset
