Brampton organization is looking for Dynamic Health & Safety Specialist to join thier team.
This role will support safe, consistent work practices, help identify workplace hazards, strengthen prevention efforts, and build a culture where employees understand how to work safely. You will collaborate with colleagues to address concerns and support practical improvements across daily operations.

Responsibilities

- Observe work areas and processes to identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend appropriate controls.
- Support the development, communication, and review of health and safety procedures, ensuring guidance is clear and practical.
- Ensure compliance with the OHSA, WSIB requirements , Ministry of Labour and ESA.
- Manage and coordinate JHSC meetings, activities , inspections and documentation. n
- Deliver training and development activities that help employees understand safe work practices and apply them consistently.
- Maintain accurate records of safety observations, incidents, training, and follow-up actions; share relevant findings with teams.
- Track corrective actions, manage RTW claims and all other faucets of Health and Safety.

Qualifications





- Post Secondary Education in Occupational H & S
- JHSC Certification required.
- Valid Driver's License to travel to various site locations.
- Experience with RTW claims and documentation.
- Experience conducting audits, investigations and inspections.
- Must have experience delivering training and updating training manuals and presentations related to all aspects of safety.
- Top notch English communication and relationship skills.
- Strong MS Office Suite and compliance Management systems

Required: Practical ability to communicate safety guidance clearly, observe work practices, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with employees on hazard prevention. Preferred: Experience in manufacturing health and safety, along with strengths in training and development, employee engagement, and turning observations into practical improvements.

Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year
