Overview

The Home Support Worker provides respectful, practical assistance to people in their homes, supporting daily routines, comfort, and independence. This role combines personal care with household tasks and attentive, person-centred support.

Duties

- Assist with patient care and senior care, including daily routines and support for individuals with disabilities.
- Prepare meals, help with cleaning, and provide home care tailored to each person’s needs and preferences.
- Support medication administration and dementia care in accordance with care plans and established procedures.
- Apply safe practices when caregiving or performing heavy lifting, and communicate relevant observations to the care team.

Required: Practical caregiving,
