Our South Burnaby client is looking to hire a Senior Payroll Specialist for there growing business. Reporting to the SVP, Finance, the Senior Payroll Specialist will be responsible for a full cycle multi-jurisdictional Canadian payroll for roughly 250 employees across BC, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec using Ceridian Dayforce. Additional duties will include month end reconciliations and journal entries for payroll as well payroll reporting and analysis for senior leadership.
The successful Senior Payroll Specialist will possess their PCP designation and have 5+ years of hands on experience, ideally with a multi-jurisdictional payroll. Experience with Dayforce is key and Dayforce implementation or conversion experience is highly desirable. French speaking ability is considered a major asset. You are a self starter who wants to "own" the payroll function. You have excellent internal customer service skills, know how to observe confidentiality and work as part of a team and you are comfortable working full time in office.
