Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to support construction, renovation, and restoration projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on carpentry and construction experience, works safely with a range of tools and materials, and can follow plans and specifications. This role may involve indoor and outdoor work, physical tasks, and collaboration with other trades.

Responsibilities

- Build, install, repair, and maintain structures and components made from wood and other materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements, measurements, and installation details.
- Perform woodworking, framing, finish carpentry, and related construction tasks.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist with concrete forming and concrete finishing as project needs require.
- Install or repair drywall and siding.
- Contribute to restoration work, including repairing or replacing damaged building components.
- Move materials and complete heavy lifting as needed, following secure handling practices.
- Operate heavy equipment when qualified and authorized.




- Perform welding tasks when qualified and required for the project.
- Keep work areas organized, follow safety procedures, and coordinate with supervisors and other crew members.

Skills

- Practical carpentry and general construction experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics and take accurate measurements.
- Familiarity with woodworking, drywall, siding, and restoration work.
- Competence using common hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of concrete forming and concrete finishing is an asset.
- Ability to perform physical work, including heavy lifting, while following safe work practices.
- Heavy equipment operation and welding experience are beneficial; relevant qualifications may be required for specific tasks.
- Dependability, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $23.13-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
