This position covers Brampton, Caledon, Alton, Etobicoke, Malton and surrounding areas. Each visit is 1 hour long and then you go to your next client home. We do pay 40 cents/km between clients for mileage and clients are grouped together as much as possible to minimize travel between.

The part time "weekend warrior" position, schedule is fri, sat, sun and mon each week. Time frame is 8am-4pm for days OR 2pm-9pm. This is a fixed and set schedule, there is no flexibility with the days or time frame, you would choose 1 time frame only and all working days would be that same time frame.

As this is community visiting position a drivers licence (G or G2), a reliable vehicle and car insurance in your name are needed to perform this job.

Starting pay is $22/hr and does include the government wage portion.

Part time staff receive a $25 monthly phone allowance but are not eligible for benefits.

Requirements:

Vulnerable Sector Police Check not over 12 months old

PSW certificate or international nursing degree

Valid CPR certificate





TB test results from within 12 months or chest xray from within 24 months

G or G2 drivers licence, a vehicle and insurance in your name

Must own a cell phone with data

Responsibilities:

Assisting clients with all aspects of daily living

Food preparation and/or assistance with feeding as required

Light housekeeping such as: dishes, folding laundry etc
