An established national commercial door service company is building its Alberta operation and looking for a Senior Commercial Overhead Door Technician ready to step into a Lead Technician role with increasing operational management responsibility.

To start, you’ll be on the tools, handling preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on commercial overhead door systems while managing subcontractor relationships and serving as the primary point of contact for customers across the province and building out your Alberta service team.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on commercial overhead doors, including sectional, rolling steel, high-speed doors, dock levellers, operators, sliding doors and gates
- Prepare estimates/quotes and reports
- Schedule and coordinate work across Alberta




- Coordinate subcontractor partners in southern Alberta
- Recruit, train and develop additional Techs
- As the Alberta operation expands, you will eventually work less on the tools

What We’re Looking For

- 5+ years of hands-on commercial overhead door service experience
- Solid troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance skills
- A natural leader who enjoys sharing knowledge, helping others and taking responsibility
- Previous lead hand, mentoring, supervisory or subcontractor coordination experience is an asset, but not required
- Comfortable using tablets and web-based field service software
- Organized, dependable and comfortable working independently
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence and clean driver's abstract and ability to pass a criminal background check
- Some travel within Alberta
