Our Waterloo client is looking for motivated individuals to join their growing team! Candidates will assist in the warehouse with the assembly of water flow sensors and flood detectors. Candidates will have previous electronic assembly experience with strong soldering skills.
Schedule: This is a straight day shift from Monday to Fri day 8:00am-4:30pm.
Wage: $19/hour
Start: ASAP
Prodigy Personnel is a temporary staffing agency. This position is a full time ongoing temporary position, with the potential to become permanent.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assemble electronic components and subassemblies according to schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions
- Perform hand soldering
- Inspect solder joints and assemblies for quality, defects,
and workmanship standards
- Help maintain a safe work environment
- Perform basic functional testing and troubleshooting of assembled boards
- Rework, repair, and modify electronic assemblies as required
- Packing and snapping of plastic parts may also be required
- Other duties as needed
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous electronic assembly experience required
- Previous soldering experience required
