Capital Region Service Commission (CRSC) has an opening for one Machine Operators as part of its landfill construction crew.

Core Responsibilities

- Proficiently maintain and operate equipment to meet facility goals for safety, quality, productivity and teamwork. Equipment includes but not limited to, excavator, bulldozer.
- Proficiently maintain machinery through preventive maintenance SOP’s.
- Perform all quality checks according to SOPs and quality specifications sheets.
- Follow all prescribed safety practices and procedures.
- Keeping interior of machines clean.
- Other duties as needed.
- Must be reliable.

Job Requirements

- High School Diploma / GED
- Demonstrate a willingness to cooperate in a team setting.




- Ability to recognize and identify maintenance issues, problems, and offer resolution.
- Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 60 pounds safely
- Ability to do manual and physical labour as job requires.
- Ability to work minimum 9 hour days as regular day, and longer days when needed.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience on excavator and or bulldozer.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Must have valid Class 5 driver’s license.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $24.41-$27.35 per hour
