What's the Job?

As a Site Supervisor – Janitorial Services, you will be responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations at an assigned site while actively performing cleaning duties. You will ensure that the facility meets company standards and customer expectations while supporting, training, and guiding the cleaning team.

This is a hands-on position that requires both supervisory responsibilities and direct participation in cleaning tasks.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

- Perform daily cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning washrooms, garbage removal, and other assigned cleaning tasks.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the cleaning staff at the assigned site.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed according to company procedures and customer requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, quality, and safety standards.
- Train and guide new and existing employees on proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, and workplace procedures.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment and report any shortages or maintenance needs.
- Communicate with building management and the Operations Manager regarding cleaning requirements, concerns, and service issues.




- Assist with scheduling and arranging coverage when employees are absent, as required.
- Promote workplace safety and ensure employees follow company safety procedures.
- Report incidents, hazards, maintenance concerns, and customer complaints promptly.
- Complete cleaning checklists, inspection forms, and other required reports.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Who Are We Looking For?

- Previous experience in the janitorial or commercial cleaning industry.
- Previous supervisory experience is an asset.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and proper cleaning procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Robust customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a diverse workplace.
- Basic computer, email, and smartphone skills.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures and WHMIS 2015, or willingness to complete the required training.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks as required.

Additional Requirements

- Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, or different shifts as required by the site.
- Must follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Must maintain a professional attitude and respond appropriately to site-related concerns.
- Must be willing to perform both supervisory and hands-on cleaning duties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.40-$18.50 per hour
