At Kanafani, we blend handcrafted, premium sweets with modern specialty coffee culture. We’re on the hunt for a creative, detail-obsessed Junior Pastry Chef to join our fast-growing Scarborough team. If you love precision, beautiful pastries, and working in a vibrant kitchen, this is for you!
What You’ll Do
- Prep & Assemble: Prepare fresh ingredients and craft our signature sweets (tiramisu, cheesecakes, rice pudding, and specialty items).
- Finish & Portion: Carefully portion, layer, and garnish desserts with precision and consistent visual appeal.
- Master Kitchen Safety: Keep stations spotless, handle ingredients safely, and maintain top food standards.
- Pack & Team Up: Package finished desserts neatly and coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth service.
What We’re Looking For
- Practical hands-on experience in baking,
food prep, or kitchen operations.
- A sharp eye for presentation, detail, and quality control.
- Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene.
- Passion for high-end desserts, coffee, and working as a robust team player.
