We are currently seeking relief staff for our recreation and leisure program; to assist participants to attain their goals.

We are looking for individuals that are dependable, reliable, creative, and flexible in their approach to daily activities. A self-starter who is energetic, organized and has a positive attitude.

This position assists our full-time counsellors to implement person centred programs(social, leisure, recreation), and maintain the safety and cleanliness of the facility.

Relief Counsellors are used on an as needed/on-call basis or, may be scheduled in for specific reasons, i.e. filling in when regular staff are not available, or to carry out a particular program.

Qualifications:

Experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities.

Core competencies are preferred but not mandatory.

A criminal record/vulnerable sector check completed within the past 3 months is required upon hire.

Job Types: Part time, Casual

Pay: $20.25-$21.25 per hour

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- driver's license and a clean abstract (required)
