Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Civil Assessor to support a specialized maintenance assignment at a nuclear facility. This role is well-suited to professionals experienced in civil assessments within highly regulated environments such as Ontario Power Generation (OPG) or Bruce Power (BP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review drill packages for maintenance and construction work.
- Conduct assessments related to concrete removal, including structural impacts and secure execution planning.
- Evaluate and support structural modifications, ensuring compliance with safety codes and engineering standards.
- Collaborate closely with site engineers, planners, and construction teams to validate civil scopes.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations based on field assessments.
- Ensure all work aligns with regulatory standards and site-specific procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in civil assessment and maintenance within the nuclear sector.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare drill packages, assess concrete removal scopes, and support structural modifications.
- Familiarity with OPG or Bruce Power protocols, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Strong communication and documentation skills for interfacing with engineering and operations teams.
