Airswift is seeking an OT Network & Infrastructure Specialist to work on a contract basis with one of out major clients in Fort McMurray, AB.

Duration: 12 Months

Schedule: 40 Hours/Week, Monday to Friday

Location: Fort McMurray, AB.

This opportunity is based at a major oil sands operating site and focuses on maintaining and supporting plant automation, process control networks, and firewalls within a complex industrial environment. The role offers involvement in new installations, infrastructure expansion, system monitoring, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance. This position will suit professionals with strong OT networking, firewall administration, cybersecurity, and field troubleshooting experience who are looking to contribute to reliable and secure operations.

Required Education:

- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Technology

Required Experience:

- Eight or more years of system administration experience in networks and firewalls
- Extensive experience configuring and supporting OT networking and firewalls
- Field experience with troubleshooting and implementation of network equipment
- Experience working in a complex operating environment supporting plant automation and process control systems

Required Skills:





- Robust knowledge of OT communication systems for new installations, expansions, and existing system maintenance
- Experience in cybersecurity and best practices within OT environments
- Ability to perform daily system monitoring using management applications
- Capability to build, install, and commission infrastructure systems to support operational growth and reliability
- Ability to troubleshoot system and network issues and provide effective technical solutions
- Ability to support preventative maintenance activities and maintain technical documentation and procedures
- Commitment to applying safety policies, standards, and values in day-to-day work

Pay: $70.00-$88.00 per hour
