S3 Concrete Inc. is looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Worker / Loader Operator to join our team.
This position is primarily focused on operating a front-end loader, maintaining the yard, and supporting the day-to-day operations of our ready-mix concrete plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a front-end loader to load and move aggregates and materials
- Load and organize sand, gravel, and other aggregates in the yard
- Keep the yard, stockpiles, loading areas, and equipment clean and organized
- Assist with general yard and plant duties as required
- Load and unload materials as required
- Assist with cleanup and general maintenance around the plant and yard
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work setting
- Perform other duties as required to support plant operations
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous loader experience is preferred
- Experience working in a concrete, aggregate, construction, or industrial environment is an asset
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment
- Good understanding of workplace safety procedures
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to perform physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's licence is an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively with dispatch, plant operators, and management
