Vital Devices is an established medical device and orthopedic footwear clinic in Brampton seeking a Canadian Certified Pedorthist (C. Ped (C)) to help expand our services into custom-made foot orthotics and comprehensive pedorthic care.

We currently provide orthopedic footwear, compression stockings, orthopedic bracing, TENS units and other medical devices. We have an existing client base and have experienced increasing demand from clients requesting custom orthotics and related foot and lower-limb services.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a qualified pedorthist interested in developing a pedorthic service within our existing clinic.

The opportunity may initially be structured on a part time basis, such as one or two clinic days per week, with the potential to expand as patient volume increases.

Responsibilities may include:

- Pedorthic and biomechanical assessments
- Gait analysis
- Foot and lower-limb assessments
- Casting and/or digital scanning for custom orthotics
- Development of appropriate orthotic treatment plans
- Custom orthotic fitting and dispensing
- Follow-up assessments and adjustments
- Orthopedic and therapeutic footwear recommendations
- Footwear fitting and modification recommendations
- Maintaining appropriate clinical documentation




- Working collaboratively with the Vital Devices team to provide excellent patient care

Qualifications

Applicants should hold or be eligible to hold the Canadian Certified Pedorthist C. Ped (C) designation and maintain all applicable professional requirements.

Newly certified pedorthists are welcome to apply.

Compensation / Arrangement

We are open to discussing different structures depending on the practitioner's experience and preferences, including part-time employment or an independent practitioner arrangement.

Our priority is finding the right professional who is interested in developing a long-term relationship and growing the service alongside Vital Devices.
