Job Overview
Norgen Biotek is a leading Canadian biotechnology company focusing on sample preparation for research and diagnostic applications. Established in the Niagara Region in 1998, Norgen is currently looking to recruit a seasonal Winter Maintenance Technician within the Niargara region.

This position is a temporary contract role anticipated to last for approximately 4 months.

Responsibilities

- Perform Winter maintenance tasks such as snow plowing, ice removal, and weatherpoofing.
- Operate power tools and equipment such pickup trucks, vehicle snowplows, manual snowblowers, automatic road salters, etc
- Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper performance
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site
- Additional tasks as instructed

Experience

- Prior experience in commercial Winter maintenance required
- Ability to work safely outdoors in various weather conditions




- A valid class G driver's license is required for this position

Schedule

- Part-time (10-20 hours per week)
- Mornings, evenings and weekends (as needed)
