Job Overview:

We are seeking dedicated Child & Youth Worker/Child & Youth Counsellors to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with children, youth and their families to support skill development and meaningful changes.

Duties:

· Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support skill development

· Provide relationship support, developmental support and respite in clients' homes

· Work in collaboration with our Therapists to support Therapeutic goals in home

· Communicate with parents on children's daily activities and progress

· Support Family relationships

· Partner with parents to support their children

Requirements:

· Fluent in French and English (preferred)

· 3-5 Years previous experience working with children and their families

· Ability to educate and engage children in various activities

· Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents

· CPR and First Aid certification preferred

· CYC/CYW/RECE qualifications

This position offers a hybrid arrangement contingent upon client need with a focus on in-home/in person work; in person hours will need to be offered.

As this is a contractor/self-employed position and has no guarantee of hours, most clinicians build up to providing 10-30 hours of direct client work per week.
