Experienced Professional Dog Groomer – Part-Time | 50% Commission

Paw De Janeiro is looking for an experienced, professional dog groomer to join our team on a flexible, part-time basis!

We are a boutique grooming salon that specializes in personalized, one-on-one grooming experiences in a calm and comfortable environment. We take pride in providing quality care, beautiful grooms, and a positive experience for every dog.

We're looking for a skilled, independent groomer who takes pride in their work and is interested in a flexible opportunity with excellent earning potential.

THE POSITION

This is a one-year contract from January 2027 to January 2028, providing maternity leave coverage for an established groomer.

REQUIREMENTS

We are ONLY considering experienced professional dog groomers.

Applicants must:

- Have previous professional dog grooming experience




- Be confident completing full grooms independently, from start to finish
- Have experience with various breeds, coat types and grooming styles
- Be comfortable working with nervous, sensitive and reactive dogs
- Supply their own professional grooming equipment, including clippers and scissors
- Be reliable, professional and committed to quality work

Please note: This is NOT an entry-level, training or apprenticeship position. Applicants without qualified grooming experience will not be considered. High school students will not be considered.
