Location: 43 Commercial Street, Nanaimo, BC

Position Type: Independent Contractor | Part-Time & Full-Time

Build Your Practice. Find Your Community.

FLVX Recovery is growing, and we're looking for registered massage therapists, physiotherapists, chiropractors, and kinesiologists to join our community in downtown Nanaimo.

Located within FLVX Fight Sports, our newly developed space brings healthcare, rehabilitation, strength, and movement together in a vibrant and welcoming workplace.

We believe where you work matters. The people around you matter. And enjoying what you do matters.

Whether you're beginning your career, growing your caseload, or bringing an established practice into a fresh environment, we'd love to connect.

More Than Just a Treatment Room

We're creating a space where independent practitioners can build meaningful careers while being part of a supportive and engaging community.

A place to share ideas, learn from one another, collaborate when it makes sense, and enjoy the company of good people.

We value professional independence, quality care, and the unique strengths each practitioner brings.

Your practice is your own. Your clients remain yours, and there are no non-compete agreements or geographic restrictions. You're free to develop your own clinical approach, maintain your existing clientele, and practise elsewhere if you choose.

Our goal is to create an environment where people genuinely enjoy coming to work and have the freedom to grow.

What We Offer

- Newly developed private treatment rooms in downtown Nanaimo
- A welcoming community of healthcare and movement professionals

- Flexible part-time and full-time practice opportunities
- A three-month introductory fee structure to support practitioners as they establish themselves
- Predictable, fixed monthly fees following the introductory period
- Complete independence in managing your own practice and clientele
- No non-compete agreements
- Opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and referrals
- Access to an established fight-sports and fitness community
- Shared laundry, Wi-Fi, and gym access
- Dedicated parking and convenient downtown access
- An opportunity to build your career or continue an established practice in a great environment

Practice Options & Fees

We want practitioners to have the opportunity to grow their practices with manageable overhead and a clear, predictable fee structure.

First Three Months

During the introductory period, clinic fees are calculated at 25% of practitioner revenue, subject to the following monthly minimums and maximums:

Part-Time (up to 10 reserved hours per week)

- Monthly minimum: $400 + GST
- Monthly maximum: $850 + GST

Full-Time (over 10 reserved hours per week)

- Monthly minimum: $600 + GST
- Monthly maximum: $1,400 + GST

After Three Months

Practitioners transition to a fixed monthly fee:

- Part-Time: $850 + GST per month
- Full time: $1,400 + GST per month

Once established, your monthly clinic fee remains the same regardless of how much your practice grows.

Established practitioners may choose to begin with the fixed monthly fee immediately. Introductory arrangements may be extended by mutual agreement.

Who We're Looking For

We're interested in connecting with RMTs, physiotherapists, chiropractors, and kinesiologists who take pride in their work and value positive professional relationships.

You might be a recent graduate looking for a outstanding place to establish yourself, or an experienced practitioner ready for a new environment.

We welcome a variety of clinical interests, backgrounds, and approaches. You certainly don't need to specialize in sports rehabilitation to be part of our community.

We're looking for people who care about providing excellent client-centred care, enjoy connecting with others, and want to contribute to a positive working environment.

Applicants must hold the appropriate professional registration or qualifications for their discipline, where applicable, and maintain their own professional liability insurance.

Come See What We're Building

Sometimes the best way to know whether a place is right for you is to experience it.

We'd love to show you around, introduce you to the space, and hear about what you're looking for in your practice.

If you're looking for somewhere to build your career, continue growing an established practice, and surround yourself with a great community, we'd love to hear from you.
