Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess/Busser to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring excellent guest relations, and supporting smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and previous experience in food service or hospitality environments. This position offers an opportunity to develop customer service skills and gain valuable experience in the restaurant industry.Please note this is weekends ONLY.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage wait lists efficiently
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus with enthusiasm
- Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including wiping down tables and organizing service stations
- Manage guest inquiries courteously via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when required
- Support the restaurant team during busy hours by assisting with guest services and hospitality needs




- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit

Requirements

- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with guests professionally
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in hospitality, guest services, or serving roles is advantageous
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills
- Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset
