The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports smooth daily restaurant operations, helping deliver welcoming hospitality and consistent food service. This hands-on role coordinates front- and back-of-house activity, supports team performance, and helps maintain a clean, safe, guest-focused environment.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily service, including serving, food preparation, cooking, and kitchen workflow; step in where needed to keep operations running smoothly.
- Support team management by supervising staff, assigning tasks, coaching team members, and assisting with interviewing.
- Help oversee restaurant management tasks such as opening and closing, POS, cash handling, and service coordination.
- Follow food handling and food safety practices, respond to guest concerns with care, and communicate operational needs to colleagues.

Qualifications

Required: Practical customer service, communication, organization, and leadership capabilities to coordinate staff, support service, and handle routine restaurant operations. Preferred: Dine-in Restaurant, food service, food industry, or hospitality experience, including supervising experience, team management, or restaurant management; kitchen experience, bartending, hotel experience, and familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, cooking, food preparation, serving, and food safety are valuable strengths.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
