Job Title: Part Time Security Guard

Employment Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.59/hr

Schedule: Friday & Saturday, 23:00 - 07:00

Overtime Methodology: Averaging Agreement after 88 hours

Site Overview

This high-profile manufacturing facility in Stratford requires dedicated, attentive security coverage. Security guards support daily operations by controlling access points, monitoring safety systems, conducting regular facility patrols, and protecting employees, visitors, and assets.

What You'll Be Doing

- Conduct interior and exterior patrols to ensure site safety, physical security, and compliance with facility procedures.

- Manage access control for employees, visitors, and contractors, and perform scheduled lock and unlock duties.

- Maintain a professional, visible guard presence to deter theft, property damage, and unauthorized activities.

- Monitor CCTV, alarm networks, and electronic security systems, responding quickly to incidents, site emergencies, and policy breaches.

- Log accurate incident, daily activity, and facility maintenance reports using electronic guard tour equipment.

- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors, de-escalate potential conflicts, and assist individuals requiring aid.

- Liaise with police, fire, and emergency medical personnel during critical events and assist with site evacuations or crowd control.

- Manage key and equipment tracking logs, track lost and found items, and flag physical safety hazards.

- Deliver first aid response when necessary and document all medical incidents clearly.

- Travel between regional sites as required using your own reliable transportation.

Must Haves





- Valid Ontario Security Guard License

- Valid First Aid and CPR Level C certification

- Valid Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certifications (or opt into Paladin's pre-employment training program prior to onboarding)

- Ability to obtain Canadian Controlled Goods Program Clearance

- Clean Vulnerable Sector Check and Credit Inquiry

- Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen status, having resided in Canada for the last 5 years

- Legal authorization to work in Canada

- 3 professional and 3 personal references

- Access to reliable personal transportation for site travel

- Physical capability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, and push a minimum of 25 lbs throughout a shift.
