COMPETITIVE PAY: $60 PER HOUR!
Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Pay Rate: $60/hour
Assignment Duration: 4 weeks, starting ASAP
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Lunch Break: 30 minutes
Pharmacy Software: Kroll
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the pharmacist, you will play an significant role in ensuring safe, effective, and high-quality patient care while supporting the pharmacy team.
Your responsibilities will include:
✅ Handling stressful situations professionally while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
✅ Providing excellent customer service to all customers and healthcare providers
✅ Reviewing prescriptions to ensure appropriate and accurate dosages
✅ Acting as a trusted advisor to customers by answering questions and providing medication-related guidance
✅ Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient medical profiles
✅ Coordinating clinical investigations as required
✅ Evaluating drug labelling, packaging, and advertising for accuracy and compliance
✅ Supporting the safe and effective delivery of pharmacy services
✅ Working collaboratively with pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals
✅ Using pharmacy operating systems, including Kroll,
to support daily pharmacy operations
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
We’re looking for a motivated and professional pharmacist who is committed to patient safety, excellent service, and teamwork.
Successful candidates should have the following:
✔️ A valid pharmacist licence and good standing with the applicable provincial college of pharmacists
✔️ A Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy
✔️ Proficiency with pharmacy operating systems
✔️ Excellent customer service and communication skills
✔️ Strong leadership abilities and the ability to help lead a successful team
✔️ Excellent organizational and time-management skills
✔️ The ability to work effectively with others in a team environment
✔️ The ability to manage stress and maintain attention to detail in a busy pharmacy setting
✔️ Injection certification
✔️ Flexibility to work occasional evening and weekend shifts, if required
