Job Summary
Krystalite GT Inc. is hiring a Printing Operator to support production of thermoformed plastic packaging products, including PET cups, lids, deli containers, and food packaging solutions.
The role involves operating printing machines to deliver high-quality branded packaging used across beverage, foodservice, and HORECA applications. These products include multiple sizes (12oz–24oz cups, dome/flat/sip lids, and containers), requiring strong attention to detail and consistency.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate printing machines for thermoformed plastic products (cups, lids, containers)
- Ensure accurate print alignment, color consistency, and branding quality
- Monitor production output and adjust machine settings to maintain quality standards
- Perform in-process and final inspections on printed products
- Troubleshoot printing and basic mechanical issues to minimize downtime
- Clean and maintain equipment to ensure smooth operations
- Coordinate with thermoforming and production teams for continuous workflow
- Maintain production records and follow all safety and quality procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in printing operations (plastic packaging preferred)
- Experience working with cups, lids, containers, or food-grade packaging
- Strong understanding of print quality, color control, and registration
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience in a manufacturing / thermoforming environment is highly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
