Overview

We are seeking a skilled, customer-focused Barber to provide professional grooming services and create a welcoming experience for every client. The ideal candidate combines strong hair styling abilities with excellent communication and customer service skills, maintains a clean and sanitary workspace, and is comfortable supporting front desk operations and retail sales.

Responsibilities

- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable cuts and grooming services.
- Provide barbering services such as haircuts, fades, beard trims, shaves, and styling.
- Deliver attentive customer service and communicate clearly throughout each appointment.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow sanitation practices for tools, equipment, and stations.
- Support front desk tasks, including greeting clients, managing appointments, and assisting with check-in and checkout.
- Recommend relevant products and services,



using thoughtful upselling and retail sales techniques.
- Help keep the shop welcoming, professional, and running smoothly.

Qualifications

- Barbering experience and a current barber license, as required by applicable provincial or local regulations.
- Demonstrated hair styling skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of sanitation and safe tool-handling practices.
- Comfortable assisting with front desk duties, retail sales, and appropriate upselling.
- Dependable, qualified, and able to work effectively with clients and coworkers.

Pay: $15.90-$24.00 per hour
