Overview
Tanx Transport is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. A background in supply chain and logistics is preferred, along with proficiency in systems that support operational processes.

Duties

- Processing weekly payroll of drivers.
- Efficiently handle the processing of high-volume invoices.
- Assist in collection of aged accounts receivables.
- Complete monthly reports as required.
- Keep files up to date.
- Reconcile petty cash given to company drivers.

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years experience in trucking industry.




- Bachelors degree in accounting or related experience.
- Solid computer skills in Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to work well under pressure while meeting daily/weekly/monthly deadlines.
- Excellent typing, written and verbal communication skills.
- Robust ability to manage multiple tasks and duties.
- Proven ability to work well in a team and collaborate to overcome challenges.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39,780.00-$48,620.00 per year
