About the Role

As our Service Roofing Foreman, you will lead a commercial roofing service crew, overseeing daily operations while actively participating in roof repairs, maintenance, inspections, and leak investigations.

This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who enjoys working independently, mentoring crew members, and taking ownership of their work.





You will work closely with our Service Operations Manager and Service Coordinator to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Raven Roofing's quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, supervise, and support a commercial roofing service crew.
- Diagnose and repair roof leaks across various commercial roofing systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance, roof inspections, service repairs, installs and deletions.
- Complete roof evaluations, service reports, and required documentation.
- Plan and coordinate daily service activities to maximize crew productivity.
- Communicate professionally with clients and internal team members.
- Ensure company vehicles are maintained, safely operated, and equipped with the necessary tools and materials.
- Follow and enforce company safety procedures, including proper fall protection and safety system setup.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, professionalism, customer service, and best roofing practices.
- Support and mentor crew members while promoting a positive team environment.

What We're Looking For

Experience & Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of commercial roofing experience (required).
- Minimum 1 year of foreman or crew leadership experience.
- Strong working knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including SBS, EPDM, TPO, PVC, and Tar & Gravel.
- Proven ability to investigate, diagnose, and repair roof leaks.
- Experience performing roof inspections, maintenance,



and service work.
- Valid BC driver's licence with a clean driving record (required).
- Red Seal certification or apprenticeship in Roofing, Damp and Waterproofing is considered an asset.
- Strong English communication skills.

- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull roofing materials weighing up to 80 lbs.
- Comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders, and navigating scaffolding and stairwells.
- Availability to work 40+ hours per week.
