Assure Appliance Services is seeking an experienced refrigeration/appliance technician for specialized residential refrigerator sealed-system repairs on a flexible subcontractor basis.

We provide the service jobs, required sealed-system equipment/tools, replacement parts and administrative/warranty support. The technician provides the technical expertise required to complete assigned repairs professionally and safely.

This is not a fixed full-time position. It is intended for an experienced technician looking for additional work while maintaining control over their availability.

Primary Work

The majority of assignments will involve residential refrigerator sealed-system repairs, including:

- Compressor replacement
- Refrigerant leak diagnosis and repair
- Brazing
- Filter-drier replacement
- Vacuum/evacuation
- Refrigerant charging
- Sealed-system restrictions
- Cooling-system diagnosis
- Post-repair testing

Additional gas-appliance service opportunities may be available for technicians holding the appropriate valid Saskatchewan gas qualifications/licences.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have:

- Proven hands-on refrigerator sealed-system repair experience
- Strong compressor replacement and brazing skills
- Knowledge of proper evacuation and refrigerant charging procedures




- Applicable Saskatchewan trade qualifications/certification
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently
- Professional customer-service skills

A valid Saskatchewan Gas Fitter licence and residential gas-appliance repair experience are strong assets.

Compensation

Compensation starts at 30% of applicable labour revenue per completed assigned repair.

Compensation may be reviewed based on experience, qualifications, gas licensing, performance and the scope of work being completed.

This arrangement is designed to provide flexibility. Jobs are offered based on availability, and accepted assignments can be scheduled within the required service timeframe.

Ideal Candidate

This chance may be particularly suitable for an experienced refrigeration/HVAC or appliance technician who already has regular employment or independent work and is interested in taking additional specialized appliance repair jobs.
