As a commission-based Fundraiser, you will support fundraising efforts through research, marketing, donor engagement, and accurate database management. You will build positive relationships with prospective and existing supporters, communicate fundraising opportunities clearly, and maintain organized records that help the team coordinate outreach. This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to fundraising goals while developing practical experience in donor relations and campaign support.
Responsibilities
- Research prospective supporters and identify relevant opportunities for outreach.
- Assist with marketing materials and fundraising communications, tailoring messages to audience needs.
- Engage with donors and prospects using strong customer service and clear, professional communication.
- Maintain accurate donor records in databases, including Raiser's Edge,
and share useful updates with colleagues.
Qualifications
Required: Transparent communication, customer service, research, and accurate record-keeping skills are essential for engaging supporters and maintaining reliable donor information. Preferred: Experience with marketing, databases, or Raiser's Edge is advantageous, as is related fundraising or donor engagement experience.
