Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Party Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests, particularly children, during various events and celebrations. As a Party Host, you will manage the event from start to finish, ensuring that all activities run smoothly and that guests feel welcomed and engaged. We require an adaptable and flexible candidate, who can bring the energy to every party no matter what the theme is.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival and provide them with a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Coordinate and oversee all party activities, ensuring they are executed according to the planned schedule and purchased party package.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
- Assist with loading and unloading of party equipment
- Set up and take down party supplies in an efficient manner and ensuring clients homes/spaces are left clean.
- Engage with children through leading games and activities to keep them entertained.
- Maintain a safe and fun environment for all participants, adhering to safety guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all aspects of the party are well-organized and executed flawlessly.
Qualifications
- Strong hospitality skills with a passion for creating enjoyable experiences for guests.
- Excellent public speaking skills to effectively communicate with both children and adults.
- Experience working with children is preferred, showcasing an ability to engage and entertain young audiences.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Education in Child and Youth Studies, ECE, or related field is an asset (but not required).
- Standard First-Aid with CPR-C is an asset (but not required).
- High Five: Principles of Healthy Child Development is an asset (but not required).
Requirements
- Access to your OWN car
- Driver's license (G class preferred, but open to G2)
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (if you do not have this as of yet that is fine, so long as you are willing to obtain this upon hiring)
