Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Boba Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages. Your role will involve engaging with customers, ensuring their satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of bubble tea beverages, as well as preparing toppings according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their orders.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining spaces.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of our customers.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication.
Experience
- Previous experience in food services or as a Barista is required. Specific sharetea/bubble tea training provided.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and a current Food Safe certificate is required.
- Experience with cashiering or operating POS systems is required
- A 20 hour weekly commitment is required. Availability presented upon hire must be maintained for a minimum of 6 months.
- Evenings 5/5:30-10:30/11:30
- Looking for at least 2 weekend evening availability/week (Fridays-Sunday)
- Minimum 2 references required. (Please include with resume)
- Strong command of English language
