About the Position

Saini Logistics Solutions is looking for an organized, motivated and dependable Dispatcher / Logistics Coordinator to join our transportation operations team in Mississauga.

This position will work directly alongside our main dispatcher, assisting with daily transportation operations while progressively taking on additional dispatch responsibilities.

We are looking for someone with a background in transportation, trucking, local delivery or warehouse logistics who is interested in building their career in the transportation industry.

The successful candidate should be comfortable working with computers, communicating with drivers and customers, coordinating deliveries and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with daily dispatch operations and transportation coordination.
- Communicate with drivers regarding delivery schedules, assignments and operational updates.
- Assist with assigning deliveries and coordinating routes.
- Monitor shipments and track delivery progress.
- Follow up on delays, missed appointments and delivery issues.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and updates.
- Prepare, review and organize work orders and delivery documentation.
- Monitor and follow up on Proof of Deliveries (PODs).
- Maintain accurate records and update Excel tracking spreadsheets.
- Manage dispatch-related emails and correspondence through Microsoft Outlook.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel to support daily operations.
- Assist with resolving day-to-day transportation and delivery issues.




- Gradually assume greater responsibility for independent dispatch operations.

Qualifications & Experience

- Previous experience in transportation, trucking, dispatch, local delivery or warehouse logistics is an asset.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook and other computer-based systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable communicating professionally with drivers, customers and internal staff.
- Ability to work independently while following direction from the main dispatcher.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized and eager to learn.

You do not necessarily need to have held a dispatcher title before. However, experience in trucking, transportation, local deliveries or warehouse logistics will be considered a strong asset.
